2017: 3 in 5 urban Pakistanis (60%) claim they or someone in their neighbourhood has paid bribes to receive assistance from the police.

According to the findings of the World Justice Project Report on The Rule of Law in Pakistan based on a Gallup Survey in urban Pakistan, as compared to neighbouring South Asian countries, more Pakistanis report they or someone in their neighbourhood has paid a bribe to receive assistance from the police (60%).
