31% Pakistanis claim they miss Nawaz Sharif’s government and want to see him in power again; 30% miss his government but do not want to see him in power again, and another 36% neither miss his government nor want to see him in power again.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 31% Pakistanis claim they miss Nawaz Sharif’s government and want to see him in power again, 30% miss his government but do not want to see him in power again, and another 36% neither miss his government nor want to see him in power again.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Some people say they miss the days of Nawaz Sharif’s government and wish to see him in power again, while others say they miss Nawaz Sharif’s government but do not want to see him in power again. There are also people who say they neither miss his government nor want to see him in power again. What is your opinion?” In response, 31% said they miss Nawaz Sharif’s government and want to see him in power again, 30% said they miss his government but do not want to see him in power again, and 36% said they do not miss his government or want to see him in power again. 3% said that they did not know or wish to respond.
