35% Pakistanis believe that Mian Nawaz Sharif’s removal as party president would not impact PML N vote bank, nearly equal proportion feel it would increase/decrease PML N vote bank.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 35% Pakistanis believe that Mian Nawaz Sharif’s removal as party president would not impact PML N vote bank, nearly equal proportion feel it would increase/decrease PML N vote bank.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Some people believe that after the disqualification of Mian Nawaz Sharif as the party president, vote bank of PML N would decrease, others say it would increase, and some others also say it will not make any difference. What is your opinion?” In response to this question, 27% said voter bank of PML N would increase, 26% said it would decrease and 35% said it would not make any difference. 12% did not know or wish to respond.
