4 in 5 rural Pakistanis (79%) have never thought of shifting to a city.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 4 in 5 rural Pakistanis (79%) have never thought of shifting to a city.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from rural areas across the four provinces was asked, “Have you ever thought of shifting to a city?” In response, only 13% said yes, whereas a staggering 79% said no. 8% said they did not know or wish to respond.
