42% Pakistanis believe that the overall rainfall experienced in the country this year was less in comparison to previous years.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 42% Pakistanis believe that the overall rainfall experienced in the country this year was less in comparison to previous years.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “According to your knowledge has the overall rainfall in Pakistan this year been less, more or approximately equal when compared to previous years?”  In response, 42% answered less, 14% said more while 30% stated that the relative levels of rainfall were approximately equal. 14% did not know or did not wish to respond.
