42% Pakistanis profess that they were affected by the increase in flour prices, 21% claim the same for increase in meat prices.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 42% Pakistanis profess that they were affected by the increase in flour prices, 21% claim the same for increase in meat prices.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “Increase in prices of which of the following food items have affected you the most?” In response to this question, 42% said flour prices, 21% meat prices, 18% said vegetables, 9% said egg, 4% said milk, and 2% each stated the same for prices of pulse and rice while 2% did not know or respond to the question.
