A significant majority of Pakistanis (76%) opine that the quality of drinking water in the country is unsatisfactory and causes health problems.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, A significant majority of Pakistanis (76%) opine that the quality of drinking water in the country is unsatisfactory and causes health problems.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Please let us know how much do you agree with the following statement? The quality of drinking water is not satisfactory and causes health problems” In response to this question, 37% said they strongly agreed, 39% said they somewhat agreed, 17% said they somewhat disagreed and 7% said they strongly disagreed.
