Almost 1 in 5 (18%) Pakistanis claim to have bought a mobile phone in past one year.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, almost 1 in 5 Pakistanis (18%) claim to have bought a mobile phone in past one year.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Have you or someone in your household bought a mobile phone over the past one year or not?” In response to this question, 18% said yes and 75% said no. 7% did not know or wish to respond.
