Corruption in Pakistan: 44% Pakistanis believe that the level of corruption has increased over the last five years.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 44% Pakistanis believe that the level of corruption has increased over the last five years.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Over the last five years would you say the level of corruption in Pakistan has increased, decreased, or is about the same level as it was five years ago?” In response to this question, 44% said that the level of corruption has increased over the last five years, 33% said it is the same, while 23% said it has decreased.
