Friendship with motivation to capitalize: Almost 1 in 2 Pakistanis think that cultivating friendships with individuals who could end up using them is okay.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, almost 1 in 2 Pakistanis think that cultivating friendships with individuals who could end up using them is okay.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Please tell us how much you agree or disagree with the statement that cultivating friendships with people is the right thing to do, even while knowing that they could use you?” In response to this question, 27% agreed completely, 20% agreed to an extent, 21% neither agreed nor disagreed, 21% disagreed, 10% completely disagreed, while 1% did not know or did not wish to respond.
