Learning to Recite the Quran: 44% of Pakistanis report that there is a child in their house who is currently learning how to recite the Quran.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 44% of Pakistanis report that there is a child in their house who is currently learning how to recite the Quran.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Is there any such child in your house who is currently learning how to recite the Quran?” In response to this question, 44% replied in the affirmative, 42% replied in the negative, while 14% did not know or did not wish to respond.
