More than two third Pakistanis (68%) believe it a good step by the Punjab government to introduce a booklet on child safety in the curriculum.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, more than two third Pakistanis (68%) believe it a good step by the Punjab government to introduce a booklet on child safety in the curriculum.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Recently, Punjab government has decided to spread awareness on children’s safety and protection from abuse by introducing a new booklet. To what extent do you feel, this is a good step by the Punjab Government?” Responding to this, 68% said it is a good step, 15% said it is a bad step, 11% said neither good nor a bad step and 6% did not wish to give a response.
