Nearly half Pakistanis (49%) believe men to be better leaders than women. 24% say otherwise.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, nearly halfPakistanis (49%) believe men to be better leaders than women. 24% say otherwise.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Please tell, to what extent to you agree or disagree with the following statement: Men generally make better leaders than women.” In response to this question, 25% said strongly agree, 24% said somewhat agree, 22% said neither agree nor disagree, 19% said somewhat disagree and 5% said strongly disagree. 5% did not know or wish to respond.
