Physical inactivity prevails over Pakistan: 37% Pakistanis say they generally do not do any exercise; only 4% claim they exercise daily.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 37% Pakistanis say they generally do not do any exercise; only 4% claim they exercise daily.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “How often would you say that you exercise?” In response to this question, 4% said every day, 12% said mostly, 22% said sometimes, 18% said rarely, 37% said never, while 7% did not know or respond to the question.
