Sahiwal Incident: Nearly half (47%) Pakistanis are of the view that the government’s response to the incident should have been stricter.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, nearly half (47%) Pakistanis are of the view that the government’s response to the incident should have been stricter.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Do you think the response from the PTI Government vis-à-vis Sahiwal Incident was appropriate, it was more strict than needed or should have been stricter?” In response to this question, 24% said it was appropriate, 16% thought it was stricter than required while 47% said it should have been stricter. 13% did not know or did not wish to respond.
