Traveling: Almost 4 in 10 (35%) of Pakistanis report that they have never traveled out of their district.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan almost 4 in 10 (35%) of Pakistanis report that they have never traveled out of their district.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Have you ever traveled out of your district?” In response to this question, 46% said yes, while 35% said no. 19% did not know or did not wish to answer.

Gender Breakdown: While 53% of men reported having traveled out of their district at least once, only 33% of women said that they had done this. 28% of male respondents said they had never traveled out of their district, while 48% of women stated the same.
