1 in 5 (21%) Pakistanis claim to personally know someone who tested positive for COVID-19 (Gallup & Gilani Pakistan Coronavirus Perception Tracker)

Islamabad, 04th September, 2020

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 1 in 5 (21%) Pakistanis claim to personally know someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “Do you personally know anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19?” In response to this question, 21% said yes while 79% said no.
