31% Pakistanis consider leisure time to be very important in their lives, a 19% rise since 1994 (World Values Survey & Gallup & Gilani Pakistan Poll)

According to a World Values Survey and Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 31% Pakistanis consider leisure time to be very important in their lives, a 19% rise since 1994.

A representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “How important is leisure time in your life?”   In response, 31% said leisure time is very important, another 31% said it is rather important, 18% said not very important while 19% said leisure time is not important at all.

     Comparative Picture:

The question “How important is leisure time in your life?” was asked previously between 1994-1998 and only 12% Pakistanis then said very important while between 1999-2004, lowest 5% claimed that leisure time is very important.
