Nearly 4 in 5 (79%) Pakistanis believe that the Coronavirus pandemic is now under control, a 32% increase since June (Gallup & Gilani Pakistan Weekly Coronavirus Perception Tracker)

Islamabad, August 28th, 2020

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 79% Pakistanis believe that the Coronavirus pandemic is now under control.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “To what extent do you agree or disagree with the following statements: ‘I think the Coronavirus pandemic is now under control’?” In response to this question, 79% agree that it is under control now while 15% disagree. 6% say they do not know/did not respond.
