Over 9 in 10 (94%) Pakistanis agree that one of their main goals in life is to make their parents proud. Only 5% disagree (World Values Survey & Gallup & Gilani Pakistan Poll)

According to a World Values Survey and Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, over 9 in 10 (94%) Pakistanis agree that one of their main goals in life is to make their parents proud. Only 5% disagree.

A representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Do you agree strongly, agree, disagree, or disagree strongly with the following statement: ‘One of my main goals in life has been to make my parents proud’?” In response, 82% Pakistanis strongly agree, 12% agree, 4% disagree and 1% strongly disagree that their main goal in life is to make their parents proud.
