Public Opinion split over the privatization of PIA: 28% support and 27% oppose (Gallup & Gilani Pakistan Poll)

Islamabad, 20th August 2020

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, public opinion is split over the issue of PIA’s privatization.

A representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Do you agree/disagree with the following statement: ‘I think PIA should be privatized’” In response, 28% agreed, 27% disagree and 45% did not know/refused to answer.
